The West Coast Symposium is hosting a golf tournament sponsored by Dreamscape Marketing on May 31, the day before the full conference begins.
This is the only official golf outing at the West Coast Symposium. Any other golf-related activities are not coordinated with, or endorsed by, or part of, the conference.

Sporting only 68 acres of lush manicured turf, 102 white crushed marble bunkers, and shark blue water coming into play on 9 holes, this 7,200-yard course offers a truly "Outback" experience that will entice you back time and time again. Resting in a prehistoric ocean bed 40-feet below sea level and surrounded by an immense crescent of terra cotta mountains, the course teems with purple, white and yellow wildflowers, while the mix of tall and short native grasses produce different shades of green running almost to silver. The grass covers just 60 acres of tight fairways that taper toward the greens with nine ponds blanketing 18 acres. The demands of this target-style course are a challenge for players of all levels.

The tournament is limited to 40 golfers. If you qualify, a prompt will appear during your conference registration process, or you will receive an invitation via e-mail from a West Coast Symposium or Dreamscape representative.
The West Coast Symposium reserves the right to approve or deny participation of any conference attendee at any time, and all conference fees must be paid in order to participate. Golfers must be registered to attend the West Coast Symposium.
A wait list will be created when the tournament is full. Those on the wait list will be notified if a spot becomes available.
TEE TIMES AND FOURSOMES
Tee times are from 9:36 AM-10:57 AM on May 31. Prior to the tournament we will contact you with your anticipated tee time, but the time is not guaranteed. Please arrive at least 20 minutes in advance.
To promote networking, the conference and Dreamscape will assign foursomes. We encourage you to bring your business cards. Please note we cannot accommodate individual pairing requests.
On June 1 participants will be emailed the list of winners, who can pick up their prizes at conference registration in the Diego 1 room at the La Quinta Club and Resort (the conference venue) with a valid government-issued ID. Awards will be given for:
- Longest Putt ($100 AMEX gift card)
- Longest Drive in Fairway ($100 AMEX gift card)
- Shortest Drive ($100 AMEX gift card)
- Closest to Pin ($100 AMEX gift card)
- The two Lowest Scoring Foursomes ($25 AMEX gift card per player)
Awards must be claimed during the conference.
Participation is complimentary to qualified attendees.
TaylorMade clubs are available for rental for $55 per set and include 2 sleeves of golf balls. You may select the option to rent clubs during the conference registration process. Rented clubs will be preset on carts.
Shoe rental is unavailable.
Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the course. Please note the course is about a 15-minute drive from the La Quinta Club and Resort, the conference venue.
Food and beverages are available for purchase at the course. The course does not permit food and beverage not purchased at the course.
Per course policies:
- Acceptable attire: Collared Shirt, Long Pants or Walking Shorts.
- Unacceptable attire: T-shirt, Tank Top, Athletic Shorts, Cut-offs or Jeans.
- Metal spikes are not allowed.
Expect sunny skies and warm temperatures at this time of year in Palm Springs. We recommend you bring a head covering, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
Should the course cancel play, the conference will e-mail participants with a location for a networking opportunity at the La Quinta Club and Resort (the conference venue) during the play time and where participants can pick up their complimentary golf swag. Club rental fees will be refunded.
Look for communications from the West Coast Symposium in May with your tee time and more details on the golf tournament if you signed up to participate. You will receive messages from conference representatives with an @hmpglobal.com e-mail address.
